Finishing presser — Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Washington County, Kentucky. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
