Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Walla Walla County, Washington. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Meals and transport allowance provided.
