Health and safety supervisor • Kafur, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Kafur, Katsina State. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot You will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
