Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Audrain County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
