Quality assurance assistant — City of Williamsburg

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in City of Williamsburg, Virginia. The job is at a food processing unit. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection On a typical shift you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
