Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Haskell County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Haskell County, Texas. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
