Laundry presser • Cedar County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a laundry presser in Cedar County, Nebraska. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
