Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in Grant County, Minnesota. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
