Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Western Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Own basic hand tools On a typical shift you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
