Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Perry County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day-to-day duties: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints 1+ years on the tools preferred.
