Pastry baker • Clinton County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Clinton County, New York. You will be based at a cake shop. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
