Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Talladega County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
