Metal caster wanted in East Feliciana Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale.
