Safety marshal — Fairbanks North Star Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Full-time with occasional weekends.
