Scaffolding erector wanted in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a shipyard. Requirements: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Your main tasks: • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
