We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Harney County, Oregon. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
