GMAW welder • Keweenaw County, Michigan

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Keweenaw County, Michigan. The job is at an automobile body shop. You will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
