Urgent requirement: VMC operator (South Dakota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Gregory County, South Dakota. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
