Finishing plasterer • Siskiyou County, California

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Siskiyou County, California. The job is on a busy domestic building site. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline You will apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
