Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coater in York County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Rotating shifts.
