Earthmoving plant operator — Sharkey County

Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Sharkey County, Mississippi. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. On the job you will handle: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently 4+ years on the tools preferred.
