HVAC-R technician — Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HVAC-R technician in Northeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Your main tasks: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
