Refrigeration installation technician • Montgomery County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Montgomery County, Illinois. The job is on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. You should have: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints On the job you will handle: • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
