Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Sioux County, Iowa. You will be based on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion On a typical shift you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply.
