Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Union County, Pennsylvania. You will inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time with occasional weekends.
