Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glazier in San Mateo County, California. On a typical shift you will secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead. You should have: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
