Urgent requirement: port container crane operator (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in San Luis Obispo County, California. The role involves: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Performance bonus on top of base pay.
