Steel fixer wanted in Kiowa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Kiowa County, Kansas. You will work on a busy residential building site. On a typical shift you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
