Garden maintenance worker — Ekiti East

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Ekiti East, Ekiti State. You will be based in a residential garden complex. You will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting 4+ years on the tools preferred.
