Vacancy available: gas commissioning technician (South Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Lancaster County, South Carolina. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. Day to day you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
