Track-type tractor operator wanted in Otero County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Otero County, Colorado. You will work at a busy earthworks site. You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections On the job you will handle: • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Refuel the machine and record running hours Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
