Metal caster • Dawson County, Montana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Dawson County, Montana. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 4+ years on the tools preferred.
