Flatlock machine operator wanted in Tuolumne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Tuolumne County, California. The role involves operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
