Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The job is on a quarry floor. You should have: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Your main tasks: • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $25 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
