Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Orange County, Virginia. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
