Immediate opening: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Wexford County, Michigan. You will work in a paint and spray workshop. Requirements: • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application On a typical shift you will fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture; apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
