Immediate opening: milling machinist (Montana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Madison County, Montana. The job is in a die and mould making unit. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
