We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Washington County, North Carolina. The role involves trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
