CO2 welder wanted in Crawford County

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Crawford County, Arkansas. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. On the job you will handle: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
