What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
