Gantry crane operator • Livingston County, New York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Livingston County, New York. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Strong attention to safety and load limits Your main tasks: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Meals and transport allowance provided.
