Urgent requirement: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Augusta County, Virginia. The role involves: • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook What we are looking for: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Six days a week, one day off.
