Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in White Pine County, Nevada. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
