Urgent requirement: gas commissioning technician (Maine)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Piscataquis County, Maine. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. On the job you will handle: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints What we are looking for: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
