Hand presser — Miami County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in Miami County, Indiana. You will be based in a busy laundry. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
