Now hiring: we are hiring a car painter in Kootenai County, Idaho. Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to read and match factory paint codes On a typical shift you will wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
