Vacancy available: we are hiring a metal caster in Bannock County, Idaho. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
