Immediate opening: we are hiring a butcher in Kings County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Rotating shifts.
