We are recruiting: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Colusa County, California. You will work at a cold storage facility. Day to day you will fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
