Roofing labourer — Ketchikan Gateway Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a roofing labourer in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. Day-to-day duties: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Requirements: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
